New Pediatric Patients

Welcome to Pine Grove Pediatrics. Choosing the right pediatrician for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. You are our priority and we want to make your first visit to our office productive, stress free and enjoyable. To help you get acquainted with our office and first visit procedures, we have included some helpful information on this page.

What to expect

On the day of your child’s first appointment please arrive a few minutes early to be sure that we have your registration complete. This will also ensure that you have plenty of time to get acquainted with our staff and our office. Don’t forget to bring your identification, your child’s insurance card and a copy of his or her immunization record. If you have an insurance plan that requires you to chose a Primary Care Doctor, Dr. Brodie or Dr. Campbell need to be listed as the PCP with the insurance company before we can see your child. You can print and complete the registration forms and bring them to the appointment.

Please take a moment to look over the office policies pages. We look forward to meeting you and joining with you to keep your child healthy.

Do you have a brand new baby or one on the way? Congratulations!!
If you are delivering at Novant Prince William Medical Center, just tell the staff in labor and delivery that the doctor’s at Pine Grove Pediatrics will be the baby’s doctor and they will take care of the rest. We will see the baby in the hospital within 24 hours of the baby’s birth. If your baby is born at another hospital, we will see the baby for the first time in the office. The doctor who sees the baby in the hospital will let you know when the baby should be seen in the office. In either case bring the discharge summary from the hospital to your first appointment. Babies don’t come into the world with insurance cards but it is critical that you call to add your baby to your insurance policy ASAP or at least within 30 days.
